The Dashboard

Read the Dashboard figures, switch the financial year you are working in, and add a new financial year.

The Dashboard is the first screen after you log in. It shows a summary of sales, purchases, money due and cash for one financial year. Open it any time from Dashboard at the top of the sidebar.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard.
  2. Check the Financial Year box. It shows the year whose figures you are looking at. The year marked with * is your default year.
  3. Read the cards. Each card shows an amount for the selected year only.
  4. Scroll down to the Monthly Sales vs Purchases chart. It shows one pair of bars for each month of the year. Point at a bar to see the exact amounts.

Switch the financial year

  1. Click the Financial Year box.
  2. Choose another year from the list.
  3. The page reloads. The Dashboard, registers and reports now open with that year's dates.

The year you pick here is the year you are "working in". It stays selected in this browser until you change it.

Add a financial year

  1. Click + Add FY next to the Financial Year box.
  2. In Starting Year, type the year the financial year begins. For April 2026 to March 2027, type 2026.
  3. Check the line under the box. It shows the code and dates, for example FY-2026-27 (01/04/2026 to 31/03/2027).
  4. Click Create.

To create a year with other dates, or to close a year, use Financial years.
